Man Randomly Slashed in Neck With Razor Blade, NYPD Says

MANHATTAN — A man was randomly slashed across the neck with a razor blade early Monday morning, police said.

The 21-year-old man, whose name wasn't immediately released, was outside 109 Sherman Ave., near Dyckman Street, about 12:20 a.m. when a man in a bright blue soccer jersey slashed him, NYPD officials said.

The victim was treated at Harlem Hospital, where he's listed in stable condition, police said.

The suspect, who can be seen in surveillance footage released by police, fled the scene and hadn't been arrested as of Wednesday morning, police said.

The suspect, who is in his early 20s, was last seen wearing a New York City Football Club jersey while at the counter of a store, according to police footage.
