LOWER MANHATTAN — There will be a lot more skyscrapers in the city's skyline by 2020, according to a new report.
Thanks to a wave of new construction, 1,251 new condos — housed in a host of soaring new towers — are on their way to Lower Manhattan over the next four years, according to the report from real estate website CityRealty.
That's the biggest condo boom in the city, a close win over Midtown, which is expecting 1,229 new condos.

The boom in building means the condo market will go from about $5.4 billion last year in new apartment sales to more than $10 billion by 2018, CityRealty says. To see the full report, head here.
