QUEENS — Queens fashionistas rejoice!

The annual Jamaica "Just My Style" fashion show will take place this Saturday and present the latest styles from local designers and clothing stores, showcasing trends to watch out for this summer.

Organized by the Jamaica Center Business Improvement District, the annual event, which attracts about 400 people, seeks to bring more entertainment to the neighborhood and increase foot traffic at nearby shops, the organizers said.

“Downtown Jamaica is such a vibrant shopping district that is rich with style, art and culture,” said Rhonda Binda, the BID's executive director.

This year, the free event will also include a performance by '90s R&B singer Jeff Redd, who worked with artists like Mary J. Blige and JoJo.

"[Redd's performance] will soothe your soul," Binda promised.

Nadine Grigsby, who was crowned Mrs. Queens America this year, will be one of the models walking the runway.

Margaret Persaud will be the featured designer with her collection Gamakache Black, but attendees will also see collections from Jamaica-based Riddim Driven and Baltimore designer V Hanley.

Old Navy, Pretty Women and The Gap will be among the retailers presenting their latest styles.

The Jamaica "Just My Style" Fashion Show will kick off this Saturday at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) at the Jamaica Performing Arts Center at 153-10 Jamaica Ave. To register, go here.
