LONGWOOD — A 31-year-old man in a wheelchair was killed Saturday night in The Bronx, roughly 10 years after he survived a previous shooting, police said.

Eric Oliver was found shot in the head in front of 903 Rogers Ave. around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, and EMS pronounced him dead at the scene, according to the NYPD.

Oliver was in a wheelchair after the 2006 shooting left him paralyzed, and Saturday's shooting may have been related to narcotics, police said.

There have been no arrests in Oliver's death, and the investigation is ongoing, but officers have released a photo of a person of interest wanted for questioning in connection with the homicide, police said.

Oliver was one of multiple homicides in The Bronx over a violent weekend in the borough. An unidentified man and 29-year-old Jessica White were also both shot dead in the borough in separate incidents on Saturday night.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or, for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the crime stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES), then entering TIP577.
