2 Wounded in Shooting at Brooklyn Restaurant, Police Say

BROOKLYN — Two men were wounded when a gunman opened fire at a Gravesend restaurant early Monday, police said.

The men, 31 and 48, were at the Living Room Steak House at 2402 86th St., near 24th Avenue, about 12:48 a.m., when a man in a gray hoodie came in and opened fire, an NYPD spokesman said.

The 31-year-old man was shot in the stomach inside the restaurant while the 48-year-old was hit in the back outside, police said. They were treated at Lutheran Medical Center, where they're listed in stable condition, police said.

Investigators believe the shooting was sparked by an earlier dispute, but didn't provide further details.

The suspect fled the scene and there weren't any immediate arrests, police said.
