Very few things beat falafel's deliciously fried flavor and texture. In honor of its ever growing adoration there is now (of course) a holiday in honor of the chickpea morsel — International Falafel Day. In honor of the 4th Falafel Day, all of the Nanoosh locations in NYC will be offering a free, baked falafel bar from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. today. Here are the locations so you can gorge on the chickpea goodness:
► 2012 Broadway, Upper West Side
► 111 University Pl., Greenwich Village
► 173 Madison Ave., Midtown
► 469 7th Ave., Midtown
► 30 Rockefeller Plaza (Concourse), Midtown
And though these joints are not giving away food for the holiday, they're beloved falafel joints worth checking out if you can't make it to Nanoosh on time:
