PENN STATION — A thief snatched a 2 train passenger’s phone out of her hands during a stop at Penn Station, police said.
The 31-year-old woman was riding a northbound 2 train around 2:40 p.m. on May 30 when it stopped at 34th St.-Penn Station, the NYPD said.
While the train was stopped, an approximately 18- to 22-year-old man went up to the woman and snatched her Samsung Galaxy phone out of her hands, police said.
A video released by the NYPD shows the thief running through a subway turnstile exit.
