STATEN ISLAND — A man who police say fatally shot a mother and son and wounded another man in Mariners Harbor in March was arrested Thursday.

Anthony Morales, 49, shot Anthony Rivera, 21, and his 22-year-old friend while they were working on Rivera’s car outside the Mariners Harbor Houses on March 24, police said.

Rivera’s mother, Idelle Rivera, 47, then rushed over to check on her son and Morales shot her once in the head, police said.

The 49-year-old man had previously accused Rivera and his friend of vandalizing his car, according to the NYPD.

"He was always harassing them," Rivera’s father, Antonio Pena, 56, told DNAinfo New York after the shooting.
