UPPER EAST SIDE — A bank robber wanted for holding up two Midtown banks last month has struck again, according to the NYPD.

In the latest incident, 48-year-old Kerian Marcinkus tried to rob a Chase Bank at 1801 Second Ave., near 94th Street, at 11:20 a.m. on May 27 but walked away empty handed, police said.

On May 17, he made off with $550 from a Chase Bank at 2030 Broadway on the Upper West Side after demanding cash from a teller just after 10 a.m., according to authorities.

On May 13, he demanded cash from a 27-year-old teller at another Chase at 2 Park Ave., between East 32nd and East 33rd streets, and fled with undisclosed amount of money, police said.

Marcinkus has a long rap sheet, including charges for robbery in 2010 and 2013, criminal possession of controlled substances in 2007, 2013 and 2016, and criminal trespass in 2009, according to authorities.

Police described the suspect as being between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-10, with a slim build, and a nose ring and earrings in each ear. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, a gray backpack and white sneakers.

Chase Bank did not return a request for comment on Friday.
