JACKSON HEIGHTS — A two-story Wendy's is opening at the corner of Broadway and 73rd street this summer, company officials said.
Construction is underway at the site, which formerly housed Tenzin Salon.
A spokesman for the Ohio-based fast food chain, Bob Bertini, said it hopes to open the restaurant by the middle to end of August.
The nearly 5,000-square-foot space will be an "in line restaurant," with a ground-floor ordering section and second floor seating, he said. It's steps from Diversity Plaza.
There are other Wendy's nearby, including on 69th Street and Northern Boulevard and 44th Street and Queens Boulevard in Sunnyside.
