THE BRONX — A woman with purple hair tossed bleach in another woman's face Tuesday afternoon during a fight over a man, police said.
The 21-year-old victim was outside 1229 Franklin Ave., near East 168th Street, about 3:45 p.m. when another woman threw the liquid in her face, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
The victim told police her eyes were burning and was treated at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, police said.
The suspect, who had long purple hair, fled the scene and was not immediately arrested, police said.
