NEW BRIGHTON — A pair of armed robbers stole $2,000 from a Staten Island deli on Monday, police said.

The two suspects walked into the Green Corp. Deli and Grocery, at 145 Westervelt Ave., at about 5:25 p.m. and pointed guns at the three employees inside — three men aged 20, 32 and 25.

One of the workers gave the robbers about $2,000 in cash from the register and the suspects fled northbound onto Curtis Place, the NYPD said.

Police described the first suspect as a 25 to 30-year-old man last seen wearing a camouflaged hooded jacket, a black and red Chicago Bulls baseball hat, light blue jeans and sneakers.

The second suspect was described as a 25 to 32-year-old man and was last seen wearing a black du-rag, a white tank top, black pants and white sneakers, police said.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
