TRIBECA — Police are looking for a man they believe scrawled anti-Semitic graffiti on the back of a residential building in April.

The suspect spray-painted the offensive graffiti on the rear of 101 Leonard St. on April 23 at about 3:25 a.m. before fleeing on foot towards Broadway, police said.

The graffiti displayed a star of David alongside a swastika, with the statement “It’s a viscious [sic] cycle” written underneath the symbols.

Police have released surveillance footage of the suspect — a man with short black hair and a beard, last seen wearing a black hoodie, dark shorts, sneakers and a black cross-over backpack — in hopes it will help the public identify him.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
