MIDTOWN — A group of CD hawkers got a pair of Queens residents to fork over more than $100 after threatening that there would “be trouble” if they didn’t pay up, police said.

A 21-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman from Queens were walking in front of 666 Fifth Ave, between West 52nd and West 53rd streets, around 11:35 a.m. on May 18 when the three suspects approached them and offered them CDs, the NYPD said.

“If you don’t give me money, there will be trouble,” one of the hawkers told the pair, according to police.

The victims handed over $116, police said.

Police did not say what kind of CDs the group was selling. There have been no arrests.
