GOVERNORS ISLAND — Whether still or sparkling, at this festival, your drink will be pink.

A two-day event dedicated to that favorite summertime wine — rosé — is headed to Governors Island this July.

Called Pinknic, the music and wine festival is taking its hue pretty seriously.

Roughly 2,000 pink blankets will be laid out for drinkers to relax on, sip their blush wine, and enjoy a picnic. Guests can bring their own food or preorder baskets prepared by chef Chris Santos, of Stanton Social and Beauty and Essex.

Along with the wine and blankets, attendees are asked to have their clothes match the honorary drink. A dress code of pink and white is encouraged.

Tickets range from $55 to $85 — that includes the $2 ferry, but all wine and food are separate.

The ticket gets you entry into the festival, which features a lineup of musicians, including performances by Claptone, Miami Horror, Tortured Soul and Slow Hands.

Wine costs $8 a glass or $30 a bottle, and rosé champagne is $12 a glass or $60 a bottle.

The event's food baskets cost $70 to $75 for two people, which have to be preordered. Ice cream and cotton candy will be available for purchase at the event.

Pinknic is slated for July 9 and 10 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. For more information and to buy tickets, head here.
