STAPLETON — A woman threw bleach in another woman's face after the pair got into a fight on Facebook, a law enforcement source said.

Regina Gasper, 21, got into an argument with the victim through Facebook comments then took the fight offline on April 29. She threw bleach in her face in front of 207 Broad St., according to prosecutors and a source.

The attack caused the victim to have burning in her eyes and to vomit, prosecutors said.

Gasper was arrested on Tuesday and charged with assault and harassment, according to Staten Island's District Attorney's office.

Her bail was set at $2,500 and she's due back in court on Monday.

Gasper's lawyer did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
