
ST. GEORGE — A man had his wallet stolen as he was leaving the Staten Island Ferry, police said.
The 53-year-old man was leaving the Andrew J. Barberi boat at the St. George Ferry Terminal on May 9 at about 3:30 p.m. when the suspect bumped into him and swiped his wallet from his back pocket, the NYPD said.
The victim was notified by his bank that several unauthorized charges were made with his debit card nearly two hours later, police said.
Police described the suspect as a 30-year-old man, standing 6-foot-5 with a thin build last seen wearing a multi-colored vest with the number 33 on the back.
