MIDTOWN — Metro-North trains will resume operating on a regular weekday schedule on Friday after a massive fire disrupted service, according to the MTA.

The Hudson, Harlem and Connecticut lines had been running on an enhanced Saturday schedule since the blaze broke out beneath the elevated tracks in East Harlem Tuesday evening.

The fire started at the Urban Garden Center, which had been storing flammable material without a permit, officials said.

There will still be some residual delays on Friday due to speed restrictions on the Park Avenue Viaduct, according to the MTA.

Commuters can check the MTA website for schedule information.
