MIDTOWN — Puff Daddy will play a free concert in Midtown bright and early on Friday to kick off the Today Show’s summer concert series at Rockefeller Center.

The veteran rapper and producer, also known over the years as P. Diddy, Diddy, and Puffy, will perform in the plaza outside the Today Show’s studio at 6 a.m.

Concert organizers encouraged fans to arrive by 5 a.m. in order to get a good spot.

The show will be a sneak peak of Puff Daddy’s Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour with Lil' Kim, Faith Evans, French Montana, and others, which launches on Friday night at the Barclays Center.

The Today Show summer concert series will feature shows at Rockefeller Center each week through Sept. 2, including performances by Meghan Trainor, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Celine Dion and more.
