WOODSIDE — A man robbed a woman at knifepoint on a Queens street Sunday morning and stole her pocketbook, according to police.
The suspect approached the 42-year-old victim around 9:45 a.m. as she was walking near 52nd Street and Queens Boulevard, pulled out a knife and demanded she hand over her property, police said.
The man — believed to be between 18 and 25 years old — took off with the woman's purse, which was carrying her iPhone and $140 in cash, according to police.
