WASHINGTON HEIGHTS — A deliveryman was robbed of $180 at knifepoint by a suspect who followed him into a Fort Washington Avenue building, police said. 

The suspect was outside 75 Fort Washington Ave. smoking a cigarette when he followed the 23-year-old victim inside the building at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, May 6, the NYPD said. 

As the deliveryman neared the second floor, the suspect pulled out a knife and threatened to cut the victim if he didn't hand over cash, police said. 

The suspect was described as standing about 6-foot-1 and weighing 160 pounds.
