SOUTH BRONX — A pair of thieves tied up the mother of twin 2-year-old boys and robbed her of money and jewelry on May 5, police said.
The robbers forced their way into an apartment on East 141st Street around 10:45 a.m. and zip-tied the 39-year-old victim but left her two sons alone, according to the NYPD.
They then snatched an undetermined amount of money, necklaces, bracelets and rings before fleeing, police said.
The victim suffered a small cut when one of the suspects cut off the zip-tie on her leg so she could direct them to the money, but she refused medical attention, according to police.
Officers described the suspects as two men between 20 and 30 years old, one with a thin build and the other with a heavy build.
Video shows the suspects running down the stairs and out the door.
