UPPER WEST SIDE — Dozens of puppies, kittens, cats and dogs will be available for adoption at Columbus Circle on Friday, according to the North Shore Animal League.

There will be a 50 percent off special throughout the day for approved adopters at the 16th annual Tour For Life event, which runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will be hosted by PIX 11 weather anchor Linda Church.

Students from P.S. 209 in Queens and the Stephen Gaynor School will also be in attendance to raise funds for local shelters and the Mutt-i-grees' programs to teach emotional learning skills for pet owners.

The North Shore Animal League is a no-kill rescue and adoption organization that works to rehabilitate and place animals with caring owners.

The tour has traveled more than 26,000 miles in the country and more than 2,000 animals have found homes, according to the organization.
