LOWER EAST SIDE — A trio stole a teen’s expensive belongings after one suspect threatened him with an unseen weapon in broad daylight on May 7.

The 16-year-old victim was walking eastbound on Stanton Street near Suffolk Street at around 3:50 p.m. when he was approached by a man who appeared to be in his late teens, police said.

The suspects asked the victim to hand over his $900 MCM bag, which the victim refused to do, police said.

According to authorities, one of the suspects then put his hand inside his jacket and said “It’s really hot, right? Don’t make me pull this out in front of all these people.”

The suspect then grabbed the victim’s bag as well as his $470 Bape camo jacket and fled across the street, where he rifled through the bag with two other suspects, one of whom was known to the victim, according to a police report.

The victim’s 55-year-old father reported the incident to the police, authorities said.

No arrests have been made, police said.
