CHINATOWN — Police have released photos of two men wanted for questioning in connection with the violent robbery of a 66-year-old woman at the Manhattan Detention Complex at 125 White St. on May 10.

The two suspects entered the facility’s bail office at around 7:02 p.m. and tasered a 66-year-old woman who was posting bail for her son, according to a police spokesman.

The suspects then grabbed the victim’s purse, which contained $30,000 in cash, and fled the location, police said.

Once outside, the suspects got into a silver or white Lexus and fled eastbound on Canal Street, according to authorities.

The victim was transported to NY Downtown Hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries and was released, police said.

Police obtained surveillance footage of the suspects from the Sun Sai Gai Restaurant at 220 Canal St., and have released photos of the suspects.

The first suspect is described as being in his late 20s or early 30s. He wore a blue sweater with white zipper trimming, gray jogging pants, white sneakers, a black baseball cap, and carried a brown purse, police said.

The second suspect is also in his late 20s or early 30s and was last seen wearing a green camouflage hoodie, blue jeans and black sneakers, according to authorities.

An employee at the Manhattan Detention Complex declined to comment and referred DNAinfo New York to the Department of Correction, which did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
