Brooklyn Whiskers features croissants, danishes, berry turnovers and cupcakes of all flavors. Plus they dish out breakfast and signature sandwiches on their homemade croissants all day.

After running a successful artisanal kosher bakery at this location, the owners of the Brooklyn Artisan Bakehouse have opened a cafe serving pastries and coffee in the morning and a full menu of salads, sandwiches and specialty toasts the rest of the day. And a bonus: everything is made on the premises, including the bakery’s massive cinnamon buns, crusty sandwich bread and savory croissants.

Chef Dawa Bhuti and her family opened this cafe about three weeks ago. They offer two menus: a list of “New American” dishes that include brunch items like pancakes and baked eggs with ramps and asparagus, as well as “Ethnic Plates” of Himalayan food. These recipes from Bhuti’s experiences growing up in Nepal and India include momos, homemade Tibetan sausage in a spicy garlic sauce and stir-fried noodles with vegetables.

After more than 20 years in Manhattan, Da Ciro Ristorante is bringing its signature Italian dishes to Clinton Hill. Savor old favorites that’ll include ten pasta dishes from Da Ciro’s original menu, as well as some new, experimental plates like Italian tacos and sliders. The restaurant will also serve brunch for the first time with the addition of breakfast pizzas, served with an egg on top.
