WILLIAMSBURG — A man groped a 7-year-old girl inside a Bedford Avenue supermarket on Monday afternoon, according to police.
After grabbing the girl's butt inside Southside Food Plaza at 428 Bedford Ave. about 5:30 p.m., he ran from the supermarket and has not yet been apprehended, police said.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a black baseball hat. He has a tattoo of dots on his hand and also possibly under his right eye, police said.
Workers at Southside Food Plaza couldn't be reached immediately for comment.
