UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS — A Bronx teenager was shot in the right leg on the morning of April 23, according to the NYPD.

The 17-year-old male victim was walking in front of 2265 Grand Ave. just before 10 a.m. when one of two suspects crossed the street, came up to the victim and shot him in the right calf, police said.

Both suspects then fled the scene, and the motive for the attack was unclear, according to police.

The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was treated and released, police said.

Video shows the suspects walking down the sidewalk.
