GREENPOINT — An angry shirtless cyclist beat a Prius driver with his bicycle lock during a traffic dispute on Monday, police said.

The biker collided with the 59-year-old driver on McGuinness Boulevard between Meeker Avenue and Bayard Street in Greenpoint at around 7:45 p.m., according to police.

The shirtless cyclist then used his lock to break the mirror off the victim's 2014 Toyota Prius and opened the car door to hit the driver in the head, police said. Then he fled.

The victim was treated for cuts on his head and hand at Bellevue Hospital, according to police.

Police described the lock-clocker as a man in his 20s or 30s who stands at 5-foot-11 and weighs approximately 170 pounds.
