MIDTOWN — A robber made off with hundreds of dollars after threatening a teller at a branch of Chase Bank near Herald Square on Thursday, according to a police report.

The thief walked into the bank at 1260 Broadway at West 32nd Street at 3:37 p.m. and handed a teller a note that read “I have a gun,” police said.

The teller obliged the robber’s demands and forked over $760, before the man fled, according to a police report.

Police described the robber as standing roughly 5-foot-7 and weighing 180 pounds. Security stills of the man show him last seen wearing a red baseball hat, a black, hooded jacket, black jeans and sunglasses.
