CLAREMONT — A man who was shot multiple times in 2010 died from his injuries earlier this month at age 25, in a death that is now deemed a homicide, police said.

Daryl Strong was shot once in the chest and twice in the pelvis by an unknown man on May 6, 2010 in front of 1528 Hoe Ave., according to the NYPD.

EMS responded and took Strong, who was 19 at the time, to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition, and he was pronounced dead on April 9 at Stony Brook University Hospital, police said.

The medical examiner has ruled Strong's death a homicide, but there have been no arrests yet, and the investigation is ongoing, according to police.
