MIDTOWN — A growing cafe chain with branches scattered across Manhattan has plans to open a new location on East 27th Street next month.

Blue Dog Cafe, which boasts a lengthy juice list and wide-ranging breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus, has signed a lease for a space at 115 E. 27th St. between Park and Madison avenues, according to a spokeswoman for the broker who negotiated the deal.

The new spot will open in May or early June, the spokeswoman said.

Blue Dog offers more than 20 smoothies and cold-pressed juices, ranging from fruity options like the “Full Bloom” — cantaloupe, strawberry and watermelon — to the “All Green Plus,” which promises to blast the health-conscious customer with a load of kale, spinach, parsley, apple, ginger, cucumber and lemon.

The breakfast menu, which is available from 6:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., features morning staples like French toast as well as more indulgent options like eggs Benedict with Maryland crab or a salmon platter.

For lunch Blue Dog offers an array of burgers, salads and sandwiches, including the “Gooey Cheese” — New York cheddar, gorgonzola and apples on nine-grain bread — as well as tacos and wraps.

Breakfast and lunch prices hover between $12 for a sandwich and and $18 for a heavy-duty “Hangover Burger”, which includes Swiss cheese, jalapeños, and bacon and comes with chili cheese nachos.

Dinner, from 4 p.m. until close, brings heftier fare, including a coriander-crusted ahi tuna, steak au poivre for $21, and appetizers including ceviche and calamari.

The new location comes on the heels of an announcement that the chain has also inked a deal for a spot at 37 W. 43rd St. between Fifth and Sixth avenues. When both locations are open, Blue Dog will have six outposts across Manhattan, including two in Midtown — one in Hell’s Kitchen and one in Chelsea.
