WASHINGTON HEIGHTS — Two men are wanted for questioning in connection to a shooting death of a man carrying several vials of crack, police and sources said.
Dejon McInnis, 41, was shot in the leg outside 500 W. 157th St. a little after midnight on April 15, the NYPD said.
He was taken to Harlem Hospital and pronounced dead. Police said a single bullet struck an artery in his leg.
Police initially said they were investigating the shooting as a possible dispute over turf. McInnis had several vials of crack on him, sources said.
One of the suspects was last seen wearing a light gray hoodie with dark gray sleeves and dark jeans, police said. The other was wearing a gray hoodie with ripped blue jeans.
