GOVERNOR'S ISLAND — Get ready to kick up your heels and dance the Charleston this summer.

The 11th Annual Governors Island Jazz Age Lawn Party is back for its second of two weekends of hot jazz and Roaring '20s fun this summer

The island's Colonel's Row will welcome flappers, picnickers and curious New Yorkers of all ages on on Aug. 13 and 14, according to the event's website. The party runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Jazz Age revelers also kicked up their heels earlier this summer on June 11 and 12.

Attendees can expect to enjoy dancing, a Charleston competition, a promenade of bathing beauties and beaus, and an exhibition of cars from the 1920s, according to organizers.
