MIDTOWN — A man punched a woman in the back of the head and cursed at her as she headed into a Midtown subway station, the NYPD said.

The victim, a 28-year-old Brooklyn resident, was entering the B/D/F train station near West 53rd Street and Seventh Avenue around 12:25 p.m. on April 12 when a man she didn’t know punched her in the back of the head, she told police.

“You f---ing b----, you flipped me off,” the attacker said, according to police.

The victim made her way to Grand Central Terminal, where EMS treated her for pain to the back of her head and released her, the NYPD said.

Police did not say which entrance to the station the woman was entering, nor whether the victim and her attacker had any interactions prior to the assault.
