CONCORD — Mayor Bill de Blasio will host a town hall meeting to discuss local issues on Staten Island Wednesday.

It will be the mayor's first town hall meeting in the borough, and while previous ones in other parts of the city focused on topics such as education and tenant rights, the Staten Island one will focus on the mayor's "Working for Our Neighborhoods" pledge and be open to all local issues, the Staten Island Advance reported.

The town hall will be held at P.S. 48, at 1050 Targee St. in Concord. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the meeting will start at 7 p.m.

The event is hosted by Borough President James Oddo, Councilman Steven Matteo, Assemblyman Michael Cusick and State Senator Andrew Lanza and co-sponsored by the Arrochar Friendship Club, The Bucks Business Network, the Grasmere Civic Association, Staten Island Chamber of Commerce and Staten Island Community Board 2.

Space is limited and people who wish to attend must RSVP by Tuesday at noon by emailing communityaffairs@cityhall.nyc.gov or calling 212-788-7929.
