BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — An off-duty Department of Correction employee was arrested Tuesday for driving drunk in Brooklyn, police said.

Darrell Ramos, 39, was driving a 2007 Dodge Charger northbound on Ralph Avenue near Marion Street when he made a U-turn and failed to yield to officers in a marked police car that had its emergency lights on, according to police.

Officers stopped Ramos and saw he had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes and was swaying, an NYPD spokesman said.

He was arrested and charged with driving with 0.08 blood alcohol content and failing to yield right of way to an emergency motor vehicle, according to police.

Attorney information for Ramos was not immediately available.

The Department of Correction did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
