BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A local boxer who hit his girlfriend in the head, leaving her in critical condition, was arrested Wednesday, police said.

Josh Luteran, 30, is accused of hitting the 38-year-old woman early Tuesday morning after an argument over money, sources said.

The assault took place at a home on Bedford and Jefferson avenues around 1 a.m., according to police.

Luteran fled the residence, and the victim was taken to Methodist Hospital in critical but stable condition, officials said.

Police found him on the Upper West Side on Wednesday afternoon, according to the NYPD.

He faces charges of assault as well as robbery for stealing his girlfriend’s cellphone during the attack, police said.

The boxer has participated in local matches, including a fight at the Barclays Center.

He was arrested in 2013 for assault, according to police.
