WILLIAMSBURG — A woman's wedding and engagement rings were swiped from her backpack while she was working out at WillyB CrossFit at 41 Meserole Street on April 4, police said.

The Leigh Jay Nacht rings were tucked away in the 28-year-old's backpack and stashed in the common storage area at the gym at around 6:30 a.m. that morning, she told police.

After her workout, the woman retrieved her belongings only to find that a 1.5 carat white gold band worth $1,100 and a $400 white gold ring with a flower design were nowhere to be found, police said.

Workers at WillyB CrossFit couldn't be reached immediately for comment.

The items had not been retrieved as of Tuesday and no arrests had been made, according to police.
