BOERUM HILL — MAC Cosmetics is getting ready to open a new shop in the neighborhood this summer.
The storefront at the corner of Smith and Wyckoff streets was covered with the makeup company's "Art Of The Lip" campaign.
The sign also announced the store "Opens Summer 2016."
MAC Cosmetics did not respond to requests for comment.
Other opening and closings in the area include the following:
► Less than a year after opening at 257 Smith St., Indian restaurant Baluchi's appears to have closed its doors. The eatery's storefront was covered with brown paper last week and calls for comment went unanswered.
► Vivi Bubble Tea is opening a new location at 111 Court St. between State and Schermerhorn streets in Brooklyn Heights, according to the Commercial Observer.
► A new comic book store has opened at 306 Court St. near Degraw Street in Cobble Hill, the Brookyn Paper reports. Mama Says Comics Rock will also eventually host workshops and drawing classes, the newspaper reports.
