BLOOMFIELD — Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump will be at Staten Island for brunch on Sunday to celebrate Lincoln Day.

The event, hosted and organized by the Richmond County Republican party, will take place at the Hilton Garden Inn from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tickets for the event are $150, and approximately 600 have been sold so far, according to John Antoniello, one of the organizers and County GOP chairman.

"We are expecting even more [attendees]," said Antoniello to DNAinfo on Monday.

"He has a lot of support here in Staten Island, people like his message."

Joe Borelli, Republican councilman from Staten Island who endorsed Donald Trump, invited people to the event on Twitter.

As he visits New York before the primaries, Trump toured the 9/11 memorial for the first time on Saturday and made a $100,000 donation, according to the organization's spokesman Michael Frazier.
