UPPER WEST SIDE — Three boys were robbed of their cellphones by a trio of suspects in Central Park's North Woods, police said.

A 10-year-old boy, a 14-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy were in the southern part of the park's North Woods near West Drive when the male suspects yelled out to them on Saturday around 6:20 p.m., the NYPD said.

The boys stopped and were approached by the trio, who asked what they had in their pockets, police said. The suspects, whose ages were unclear, then went through the victims' pockets and bags, stealing an iPhone 6 and an Android phone.

No one was hurt during the incident, police said.

The suspects were described as each standing about 5-foot-10, police said. One of the suspects had curly hair and was wearing gray jogging clothes and white sneakers. The second had short hair, but a description of his clothing wasn't available. The third suspect was wearing a light green jacket, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).  The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
