MIDTOWN — Say cheese!

Police have released a selfie photo taken by a thief using a cellphone he stole from a teen on the A train, police said.

The suspect was on a northbound A train near the 50th Street station around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday when he grabbed the 15-year-old victim's phone, the boy told police.

The thief then pushed the victim away and ran off the train into the 50th Street station, police said.

The photograph police released of the suspect was taken by the thief himself using the phone he stole, the NYPD said. Police did not say how police got the photo, where it was taken or the kind of phone that was stolen.

Police described the suspect, who was last seen wearing a black zip-up hoodie, as approximately 17 to 20 years old, standing between 6-foot-2 and 6-foot-6 and weighing approximately 180 pounds.
