DITMARS — Police are looking for a man who grabbed a woman on a street in Astoria last month and tried to take her clothes off.
The man approached the 23-year-old victim at the intersection of 48th Street and Ditmars Boulevard on March 13 shortly before 2 a.m., when he grabbed her and tried to remove her clothes, according to the NYPD.
He ran away when the woman started screaming, police said.
He is described as between 25 and 35, between 5-feet-7-inches and 5-feet-9-inches tall with spiky black hair, according to police.
