BELMONT — Ohio Gov. and Republican presidential candidate John Kasich is headed to The Bronx for a meet-and-greet at Mike's Deli on Arthur Avenue on Thursday.

The event is set to take place from noon to 1 p.m., and is the candidate's latest foray into New York City before New York's April 19 presidential primary.

Kasich also visited the city last week, stopping by a Howard Beach pizzeria where he caught flak for briefly using a fork and knife to eat his slice — and then joking about the gaffe the next day at a stop in Midtown.

His latest visit comes on the same day Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton visited The Bronx and one day after fellow Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz met with ministers and state Sen. Ruben Diaz in The Bronx.
