Woman Killed After She's Struck by L Train in Brooklyn, NYPD Says

BROOKLYN — A woman was fatally struck by a train at Montrose Avenue and L train service was delayed during the Tuesday evening commute, according to the MTA and NYPD. 

The woman jumped in front of a subway train at about 4:19 p.m., an NYPD spokesman said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Service was initially suspended between Manhattan and Brooklyn and resumed with delays a little after 5:50 p.m.
