MANHATTAN — First Lady Michelle Obama will be in Harlem on June 3 to address 3,000 students graduating from the City College of New York at its commencement ceremony.

The event, the 170th commencement for this CUNY institution, will take place at the college's Harlem campus.

"So excited to welcome FLOTUS to the CCNY campus this June! Beyond excited, actually! This just made our day (and lives!)," said Twitter user @cpowellschool, from one of the college's schools.

According to a White House press release, the First Lady will also deliver commencement speeches at Jackson State University, in Mississippi, and Santa Fe Indian School, in New Mexico, as part of her Reach Higher initiative to inspire students to complete their higher education.
