HARLEM — The Bern is coming to Harlem.
Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders, who already has an office in Brooklyn, has opened a second campaign office at 175 W. 137th St. at Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard, organizers said.
A note from the event's organizer urged volunteers to get involved with the campaign and attend the office's grand opening at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Some local residents (and their pets) have already rolled out the welcome mat for Sanders ahead of the presidential primary on April 19.

The senator visited the neighborhood in February to meet with the Rev. Al Sharpton shortly after winning the New Hampshire primary.
He's the latest presidential contender to come seeking Harlem's support. Hillary Clinton raised the roof at the Apollo Theater late last month and President Bill Clinton also opened his Clinton Foundation office in Harlem in 2001, before reportedly moving it to Lower Manhattan in 2011.
