
PARK SLOPE — Shake off the winter blahs and embrace spring by getting out of the house at these upcoming events to raise money for neighborhood nonprofits.
When: Wednesday, April 6, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Where: Grand Prospect Hall, 263 Prospect Ave., Park Slope
Sample food and booze from more than three dozen Park Slope restaurants at Grand Prospect Hall while raising money for local charities. Participating eateries include Bricolage, Two Boots Pizza, Calexico and Stone Park Cafe. Tickets are $55, and $20 of that goes toward the neighborhood charity of your choice.
► CHiPS Spring Fundraising Gala
When: Wednesday, April 6, 7 - 10 p.m.
Where: The Green Building, 452 Union St., Gowanus
CHiPS, on Fourth Avenue and Sackett Street, feeds hungry New Yorkers at its soup kitchen and runs a small shelter for young homeless mothers and their children. At its first-ever gala fundraiser, CHiPS will honor City Councilman Brad Lander, who helped the group secure a $950,000 grant 25 years ago to buy its building. The evening will feature live jazz, cocktails by Lavender Lake and food from Al di La, Insa, Pig Beach BBQ, Rucola, and Runner & Stone. Tickets are $200.
► Morbid Anatomy Museum Spring Gala with Parker Posey and Vince Clarke
When: Tuesday, April 12, 7 p.m.
Where: The Bell House, 149 Seventh St., Gowanus
Enjoy dinner, cocktails, an art auction and performances at this event to support the Morbid Anatomy Museum, which explores the history and beauty of our culture's interactions with death. VIP guests get to share a Champagne toast with honorary chair Parker Posey, and everyone is invited to an afterparty where Vince Clarke of Erasure and Depeche Mode fame will DJ. Tickets to the main event start at $250; tickets to the afterparty only are $50.

Where: Roulette, 509 Atlantic Ave., Boerum Hill
Sip cocktails and see live dance performances at this event to support Dancewave, the local nonprofit that brings dance instruction to under-served kids. Tickets are $125.
