WEST VILLAGE — Idlewild, the bookstore that specializes in travel books and doubles as a foreign language school, is moving from the Flatiron District to the West Village, according to an email blast to customers.

"Starting in May, all Manhattan classes will be held at Idlewild's new location at 170 7th Ave. South in the West Village," the email read.

The store also has a Brooklyn location in Cobble Hill.

The email describes the new store as "a beautiful ground-level space with two spacious classrooms and a large light-filled sales floor, located at the three-way intersection of 7th Avenue South, Perry Street and Waverly Place."

The store was formerly a Bareburger.

Idlewild's Flatiron lease doesn't end until February, so from the opening of the new store in May to February 2017, books will be sold in both locations, but all classes will be relocated to the West Village as of May.

The West Village recently lost a longtime bookstore with the closing of Left Bank Books earlier this month.
